Nobody they talked to had played the game except for Geoff. Wow. One can't turn in a book report having never read the book (or at the very least, Cliff's Notes) and still expect to get an A. Similarly, you can't analyze a videogame if you've never played it. In any case, we know that these people are uneducated and/or ill-informed about what they're talking about. It's unfortunate that they're not going to do the research and, moreover, that it's actually beneficial to their aim if they don't. Why care about facts when you've got all the lies in the world?
