My GRAND THEFT AUTO 4 REVIEW…of the special editon

It finally arrived to my place on Thursday

Being the obsessive special edition freak that I am, I had to do a review on the Grand Theft Auto 4 Special Edition that Rockstar was awesome enough to put together.

Metal Gear Solid Beta: The beginning

Metal Gear Online Beta! Exclusive Trailer from Kryptinite on Vimeo.

So unlike a few unlucky people in the world, I was fortunate enough to have a beta code that actually works. Being overly excited and pumped for the beta, I decided to mess around and see what I could do early. My video above displays what I was able to do. In addition to the 1.01 update that takes years to download, you also have to sign up at Konami for a Konami ID. Once you do this, which I still haven’t been able to at this moment, you will also get a Game ID for MGO itself.

I know, I was thinking the same thing, “Did Nintendo buy Sony?”. No they didn’t, the way it works is this (to my understanding): Konami has it’s own system in place to monitor it’s online games and it’s being used for the first time in the US for MGO. You can find all of that information here. So now the wait begins and I don’t know if I can wait. The trailer did a great job of getting me excited. How about you? Are you excited? Granted, most of us will be playing right up until the 29 of April and we all know what happens on that day. That’s right, it’s International Dance Day.

My first video review, now with game footage!

This is my first attempt to do a review with the inclusion of game footage from the game I’m covering. I have an awesome title screen, which a close friend Jason created for me, but I didn’t include it in this video yet. There’s a lot of stuff wrong with the video, including my monotone voice, but the more of these I do, the better they will get I hope. So let me know, what do you want to see in a video review? What points would you like me to touch on? If you are a video guru, Jason, what format should I edit in, upload in, all that fun stuff in?

The game I reviewed, quickly, goes by the name of Conan. It’s really a great game if you can find it on the cheap. And remember: THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!

Bite Size Reviews by Lawn of the Month: Mass Effect

Finally, here’s my video review of Mass Effect. This game is one that most gamers will either love or hate in my opinion. So what did I think about it? Well watch the video already and find out!

Bite Size Reviews by Lawn of the Month: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

I absolutely love this game! They got so many things right that I didn’t even cover in the video that begs to be talked about. Unforteunetly they are spoilers so I encourage to pick up this game or rent it at your local video store and play it. That’s it, watch the video and let me know what you think of the new format. It’s a little rough but I’m hoping to improve upon it.

E4: Every Extend Extra Extreme is Awesome Amazing And Arousing

This is not me playing the game by the way. Feel free to stop watching at any time.

While playing Halo I decided it was time for me to buy a new Arcade game. I have XBLA automatically download the new releases so I can try them out and usually quickly delete them. That was not the case with E4. I played the demo for about an hour yesterday before I decided to buy it today and I’m glad I made this purchase.

Above you see a video of shit blowing up, colors all over the place, and general mayhem. Now at first glance you might decide this game is shallow and has no substance; my friend you couldn’t be further from the truth.

Bite Size Reviews by Lawn of the Month: Portal

I had a lot of fun with this game, so much so that I wanted to do a quick video review of it. If you haven’t played this game yet, find a way to do so: simple as that.

You read the title correctly, click play already.

So I was bored and…

I decided that I’m going to try and do a video review of games that I own or will own. Something really quick and not to in depth. We’ll see how it goes.
